NOTE TO CURRENT SCORE! USERS
You may be seeing "No Matching Events" all the time now. This is because the source feed that Score! uses claimed to be currently moving servers and promising to be back online soon. Since it has been several months with this same promise, we are currently retooling Score! to use a different source for scores and will provide an update to all current customers in the near future. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

a.k.a. has already been downloaded over 270,000 times! This latest update adds three new name types: Spy, Rapper and Superhero. It also includes a reworked name type selector that now scrolls, as well as a new input fields table animation when switching between name types. We’ve also added better input handling, to avoid some issues users were encountering with data entry not being detected. Have fun!
We are also taking advantage of this update to promote CraigsHarvest℠, both within the app and here on the website. CraigsHarvest is a craigslist companion app that is produced by DEJOware’s sister company, Another Roadside Attraction LLC. Please follow the links if you’d like more information.

We would just like to thank all the users for your support. a.k.a. was first released on September 9th, 2008 so this milestone also marks the 6-month anniversary of its debut! We plan on adding more name types to a.k.a. in the near future and if you have other suggestions, feel free to contact us or leave a review on the App Store. Due to the lack of any foreseeable timeframe for the source feed for Score! coming back online, we have decided to remove Score! from the App Store rather than continue to sell an admittedly neutered product. Score! will remain unavailable for purchase until this source feed comes back online or a suitable, alternative feed is arranged. If you purchased Score! and feel you have not received a useful product, you can either contact Apple for a refund or email us and we will gift you the iTunes song of your choice (99¢ please). a.k.a. is nearing 100,000 downloads. So to offer more fun to our current and future users, we have released version 1.2. This new version adds three new name types: Soap Opera, Mafia and Fantasy. And with Fantasy names you can choose from seven Races: Dwarf, Elf, Gnome, Human, Orc, Troll and Undead! As well, we’ve added the ability to specify gender for all names but Jedi. Enjoy!

When playoff time comes around, one click will get you into Playoff Mode, changing your preferences to show results from all the teams in the playoffs -- even if (sniff) your team isn't one of them.
We'll also color-code the winners, so you can see at a glance who came out on top. And when you see a star next to the bright winner's name, YAY! That's your team chalking up another "W".

Oh, we've already got lots of things in the works. Here's a couple off the top of the list:
- Adding even more leagues (like CFL, NCAA Men's and Women's Basketball, Premier League, AFL, etc).
- We're also working to bring you the scores from games in-progress (though the final score is what counts, we know it's important to see frequent updates).
Update Available! a.k.a. Version 1.1
Version 1.0 was an unexpected hit, at least for us, and has had far many more downloads then we ever expected. But we knew we could make it better. So, a version 1.1 update is now available for download on the App Store. Version 1.1 includes a Clear button to make starting over easier, an Info button to take you the “About a.k.a.” flipside, a Contacts button that lets you pick people from your Contacts list, and it saves your input fields when quitting and restores them upon return.
